How the Guarantee Works

When you buy a vehicle online or over the phone from GREENWAYS CARS LIMITED, you receive a 10-day inspection and cooling-off period. This gives you time to inspect, test and decide whether the vehicle meets your expectations.

• The 10-day period starts on the day you receive the vehicle at your address.
• If you decide not to keep it, notify us in writing by email within the 10-day period.
• We will arrange collection or guide you through the return process where applicable.
• The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as delivered, with no excessive mileage or damage.

Legal Basis in the United Kingdom

The right to cancel an online vehicle purchase may be governed by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. These regulations are designed to give consumers protection when buying remotely.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers are entitled to a vehicle that is as described, of satisfactory quality, roadworthy and fit for the intended purpose.

Fair Use and Conditions

During the 10-day period, you may drive the car for a reasonable distance to test it, but it must be returned in substantially the same condition as delivered.

Excess mileage, damage, missing items or unauthorised modifications may result in reasonable deductions, in line with fair use and the written agreement.
